or

Detail description

Skarmansmälä Gård is a 460-hectare organic dairy and beef farm in Sweden, managed by Frida Holmquist and Tobias since 2010. The farm spans 180 ha forest, 160 ha arable land, and 120 ha pasture. It operates with 180 cows fed on organically grown grass, using milking robots, automated feeders, and a mobile app for health monitoring. The farm is KRÄV-certified, produces biogas for energy and fertiliser, and sells surplus electricity. Recognised with the Spårbanken Eken’s award in 2021, it exemplifies sustainable, self-sufficient farming with minimal environmental impact.
