Processing of abattoir waste to recover phosphorus and carbon-rich bio-fertiliser from animal bones, enabling a zero-waste, circular nutrient recovery system. Field trials will evaluate its performance against mineral fertilisers and farmyard manure in crop and grass/clover ley production, supporting sustainable nutrient management and reduced reliance on imported fertilisers.
