Detail description
Drones are used in Norwegian sheep and goat farming to monitor livestock, inspect fences, and assist in herding, especially in rugged or forested terrain. Thermal imaging helps locate animals in dense woods. Drones reduce risks and effort in mountainous areas, supporting safety and efficiency. Farmers collaborate to purchase drones, complete regulatory training, and operate under visual line of sight. The practice is not yet automated for search and rescue.
