Accurate AI-powered yield prediction for strawberries in tunnel cultivation using RGB drone imagery and flower counting. The Aardboogst project, led by pcfruit vzw with Flanders Make and VITO, reduces estimation errors from 10–25% to over 90% accuracy in substrate-based systems. Funded by the Flemish Government, EU (OG EIP 2023–20), and private partners, the initiative enhances harvest forecasting and sales logistics through advanced image processing.
