Sustainable packaging innovation project for IGP Manzana de Girona and IGP Poma de Girona, replacing plastic trays with cellulose and reusable plastic boxes via reverse logistics. Explored eco-friendly materials including carton, wood, and recyclable alternatives. Identified '4E2-AcFinal' as optimal packaging with minimal environmental impact. Funded by DACC, EU, and in-house resources (2020–2022). Disseminated through IRTA events and website. Aligns with Catalonia’s Rural Development Program 2014–2022.
