Smart Solutions for Sustainable Rural Development

Rural Europe faces challenges including depopulation, ageing populations, brain drain, environmental pressures, and limited connectivity. FUTURAL is an EU-funded project supporting rural resilience and sustainability through community-led digital innovations, capacity building, and policy integration. It targets rural communities across the EU, especially in border regions, to improve well-being and infrastructure access. The project is coordinated by the Agricultural University of Athens and co-funded by the European Union.
