Abinsula Platform: Web-Based DSS for Small Ruminant Management

The Abinsula platform is a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) developed within the TechCare project to enhance small ruminant farming management. It integrates data from sensors, farmer inputs, and monitoring systems, enabling real-time tracking of animal welfare, health, and productivity. The platform features Early Warning Systems (EWS) that detect issues through automated alerts via email and reports, supporting timely interventions. Designed for Precision Livestock Farming (PLF), it offers customizable thresholds, rule-based analysis, and trend monitoring through an intuitive interface. The system improves farm efficiency, reduces labor, and supports sustainable, data-driven decision-making across diverse farm setups.
