Bio4HUMAN improves humanitarian waste management by integrating bio-based solutions and strengthening collaboration between humanitarian and bio-based economies. The project identifies supply chain gaps, evaluates life cycle impacts, and tests solutions in South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo. With community and stakeholder engagement, it develops a replicable roadmap for scaling sustainable practices. Coordinated with WURM, the initiative reduces environmental waste and advances innovation in Europe and globally.
