Collective agri-environmental management through CSFF
Collective land management for landscape-scale environmental improvement in England
or
Detail description
The Countryside Stewardship Facilitation Fund (CSFF) supports groups of farmers, foresters, and land managers in England to achieve environmental objectives through collective agri-environmental management. Launched in 2015, it funds facilitators to help coordinate landscape-scale environmental improvements, with groups requiring at least 2,000 hectares and four land holdings. By 2022, 180 groups involving 4,000 participants were established. Evaluations show positive environmental outcomes, though challenges remain in data availability and long-term sustainability beyond funding.
