CHAINWOOD is a distributed software system for tracking the timber supply chain in Spain's forestry, industry, and mountain regions. Funded with €539,000 from July 2018 to July 2020, it ensures security and confidentiality in monitoring wood flow from production to industry. Supported by regional and technological organisations across Andalusia, Castilla y León, Madrid, Galicia, and Asturias, the project enhances transparency and traceability.
