Single-use agricultural plastics removal via biotechnological degradation
Biodegradation of agricultural plastics in Spanish regions to reduce environmental impact
or
Detail description
AP-WASTE targets the removal of single-use agroplastics, particularly LDPE and very low-density polyethylene, through biotechnological biodegradation and on-farm recovery. The project focuses on soil and natural environments, involving agricultural associations, companies, and research institutions across seven Spanish regions. Funded with €558,011.15 from October 2019 to July 2021, it promotes sustainable waste management and environmental protection. More details at https://ap-waste.es or contact: rpastor@sigfito.es.
