MOSOEX enhances organic matter and supports sustainable management in extensive rain-fed farming systems across multiple Spanish regions. Funded with €471,296.09 under the 2019 call in crop production (cereals), the project ran from June 2019 to July 2021. Led by Unión de Pequeños Agricultores y Ganaderos (UPA), Asociación Española de Agricultura de Conservación. Suelos Vivos (AEACSV), Solid Forest S.L., Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Instituto Navarro de Tecnologías e Infraestructuras Agroalimentarias (INTIA), and Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the initiative operated in Andalusia, Aragon, Castile and León, Castile-La Mancha, Navarre, Madrid, Extremadura, La Rioja, and Murcia. The project contributes to Spain’s EIP-AGRI efforts, focusing on soil health and emission reduction. More at http://www.mosoeex.es/ and upa@upa.es.
