PINEA promotes the recovery of native Iberian pine nuts through innovative management of biotic and abiotic threats, including Leptoglossus occidentalis and extreme drought. Funded with €565,391.89 from November 2020 to April 2023, the project involves key institutions from Castilla y León, Catalonia, and Madrid, including CTFC, COSE, ECOSPAcio, FACYLE, CESEFOR, IRTA, PÍONSOL, and Forestal de Catalunya S.C.C.L. Subcontracted partners include ASFova, IQAC-CSIC, and UB. Collaborators include ACEP, Generalitat de Catalunya, Junta de Castilla y León, INIA-CSIC, and UVA. More at https://gopinea.org/.
