Sustainable cereal farming in Spain: enhancing water use efficiency, agronomic resilience, and innovation in Andalusia, Extremadura, and Castilla y León. Part of the national Rural Development Programme (PNDR), this 2018 project led by Ambienta Ingeniería and partners aims to improve crop productivity, reduce costs, and support climate adaptation. It promotes technology transfer, strengthens rural innovation networks, and increases youth and women's participation in agriculture. Key outcomes include 10% higher inclusion of young and female farmers and enhanced ecosystem service value.
