Agroforestry Business Model Innovation Network

AF4EU is a European Union-funded project (Grant Agreement No 101086563) running from January 2023 to December 2025 with a budget of €2.99 million. Led by the University of Santiago de Compostela, the project aims to expand the AFINET methodology to create a pan-European Agroforestry Innovation Network. It focuses on disseminating proven agroforestry practices, developing a comprehensive Agroforestry Knowledge Platform, and integrating key tools—such as a decision support system, a living handbook, and a multilingual MOOC—into the EUFarmBook repository. The project supports sustainable land management through 33 analysed business models, stakeholder engagement across policy, farming, and research, and strong synergies with national and international initiatives.
