Best management practices for the optimal use of land and water in agriculture

Comprehensive review of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for the optimised use of soil and water in agricultural systems within the context of the SHui project and in collaboration with the Cereal Water Task Force. It is necessary to maintain crop yields and the production of quality food, or even increase them, in a context of growing water scarcity (driven by climate change and increased social demands) without exhausting or degrading the soil and whilst preserving water resources and their quality.
