MOVING Project – Quality Products in Mountain Regions

MOVING project explores EU quality certifications for mountain agri-food products, including Geographic Indications, organic labels, and mountain-specific designations. It examines how certification enhances territorial sustainability, product authenticity, and market competitiveness across 23 European mountain regions. Case studies cover specialty cheese, honey, wine, olive oil, and ecotourism in Romania. Research focuses on linking value chains to local resources, traditional knowledge, and site-specific conditions. Findings expected November 2023.
