Rural Development Measure 16.2 supports organic cereal cooperation in Navarra

Rural Development Plan Measure 16.2 supports cooperative pilot projects to overcome fragmentation in EU rural areas. In Navarra, over 20 organic cereal producers collaborated to purchase portable grain separation equipment, enhancing sector organization. INTIA, an innovation support service within the regional AKIS, integrated EU funding streams—RDP Measure 16.2, ERDF, and H2020—to advance a demand-driven organic value chain. The initiative improved access to innovation, equipment, and knowledge, demonstrating effectiveness in regions with weak institutional capacity. The measure is applicable across all EU member states, with typical pilot durations of 18 months.
