ARTZAI GAZTA is a non-profit association representing 45% of PGI Idiazabal Cheese production, supporting small shepherds in Navarre through direct sales, farmers' markets, and fairs. The initiative promotes sustainable mountain farming, fair pricing, and low-carbon supply chains by connecting producers directly with consumers. Backed by the EU-funded COCOREADO project (2021–2024), it advances innovative food systems, youth engagement, and local value chains within the AKIS framework.
