Biomass Atlas offers free, open access to Finnish biomass maps with a user-friendly interface. It enables users to calculate biomass in custom or administrative areas, assess utilisation and restrictions, and define zones around points of interest using radius or transport distance. Supports forestry, agriculture, and biodegradable waste analysis with ~300 map layers. Registration unlocks features like saving searches. The platform aids investment decisions, sustainable use, and energy policy. Also inspired the Forest Energy Atlas for the Baltic region. Available in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
