Assessing Conditions for a Living Lab in Agriculture

The AgriLink project assessed the conditions for establishing effective living labs in agricultural innovation. Based on six case studies across Europe, four key conditions were identified: challenge complexity, enabling setting, stakeholder alignment, and resource availability. Each condition is framed by a central question and detailed assessment criteria to guide practical implementation. The findings support the use of multi-actor approaches in fostering sustainable farming innovations through structured collaboration among farmers, advisors, and researchers.
