Peer-to-Peer Mentoring for Innovation Group Facilitators
Peer-led problem solving in agricultural innovation networks
or
Detail description
Peer-to-peer mentoring in the AgriLink project enabled facilitators from six Living Labs to collaboratively address challenges in farm advisory innovation. Through structured 30-minute sessions, one facilitator presented a dilemma while peers listened, asked open-ended questions, and co-created solutions without immediate advice. The method improved problem understanding and generated actionable insights on topics like farmer data sharing and stakeholder engagement after leadership transitions. The process followed five steps: dilemma introduction, peer questioning, dilemma reformulation, individual action planning, and solution evaluation. This approach strengthened innovation partnerships across diverse European farming contexts. All practice abstracts are available via the EIP-AGRI portal.
