"How are we doing?" Tool for Equitable Decision-Making in MSFs

A participatory tool for equitable monitoring and reflection in multi-stakeholder forums

or

Detail description

How are we doing? is a participatory reflection tool for multi-stakeholder forums, co-created with subnational MSFs in Indonesia and Peru. It supports equitable decision-making, progress monitoring, and adaptive governance across sectors like agriculture, agroforestry, and forestry. Designed for internal use, it enables stakeholders—including governments, NGOs, Indigenous communities, and researchers—to co-learn and improve forum processes. The tool fosters inclusive dialogue, addresses power imbalances, and strengthens community engagement. Validated in real-world settings such as the Aloha Mānoa MSF in Peru and ResAlliance LivingLab in Portugal.
