BIOPOPTTECH är ett projekt på 596 871,76 euro (november 2022–februari 2025) som syftar till att främja odling av poppel i Andalusien, Kastilien och León, Navarra, Galicien och La Rioja för högvärdiga träprodukter. Projektet leds av CESEFOR med partners som Grupo Garnica Plywood, AEFCON, PEFC España och universitet som USC och UGR, och syftar till att utveckla IKT-verktyg för att optimera avkastning och hållbarhet.
