Using visual mapping tools to understand synergies and action levers for sustainable agriculture

This practice abstract presents the use of visual mapping tools such as Kumu to support collaboration and innovation in sustainable agriculture.

Within the ClieNFarms project, information on sustainable agriculture initiatives across Europe was compiled, structured and visualised using the Kumu platform. This approach enabled the identification of complementarities, synergies and collaboration opportunities between projects, organisations and stakeholders.

Visual mapping tools can also be used to analyse stakeholder networks, identify barriers and leverage points for action, and facilitate discussion during workshops. By supporting systems thinking and knowledge sharing, these tools contribute to the wider adoption of climate-smart agricultural solutions.
