In dit project is een historische schaapskooi uit dit gebied (een “Buurser schoapsschot”) opnieuw gebouwd en ingericht als interactie informatie- en educatief centrum als poort naar het achterliggende Haaksbergerveen. Bij de inrichting is gebruik gemaakt van nieuwe technieken zoals een interactieve veenbeleving met virtual reality en touch screens waardoor een nieuwe natuurbeleving ontstaat voor iedereen, ook voor mensen met een beperking. Ook is er een rustpunt ingericht aansluitend op de aanliggende Flamingoroute.
