Factsheet 4 Houtwal 2.0: Voederbomen en bodem: Herwaardering van multifunctionele beplantingen in de melkveehouderij
Het rantsoen van koeien bestaat voor grotendeels uit gras(klaver), snijmaïs en krachtvoer. Houtwallen kunnen hieraan een waardevolle bijdrage leveren. Bladeren en twijgen hebben namelijk een andere mineralensamenstelling dan grassen en kruiden. Verder vervult een houtwal een rol in de diergezondheid, voor schaduw en bodemkwaliteit.
