    Improving productivity and sustainability of black truffle plantations by microbiological handling of the rhizosphere.

    The project aimed to improve black truffle cultivation in Catalonia by using rhizobacteria and organic compounds to enhance soil and plant conditions. While these treatments had positive effects in young plants, no significant impact was found in mature plantations.

    Bioeast Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda

    BIOEAST Initiative, the CEE countries’ Initiative for Knowledge-based Agriculture, Aquaculture and Forestry in the Bioeconomy, was established in 2016 to provide a political platform for the CEE countries to strengthen research and innovation cooperation and to enhance participation in the shaping of the European Research Area’s (ERA) policy and framework programme.
