Buttercup: a weed of pastures
Buttercups, dandelions, daisies, and plantain have low-growing vegetation and strong roots. Weeds, which settle in pastures, are undesirable as they are rarely eaten by horses and can be toxic. Thistles, dock, and buttercups are particularly problematic in natural pastures.
