In 2017 is de Jagersvereniging door het Wageningse Nutriënten Management Instituut gevraagd deel te nemen aan een onderzoek naar de toepassing van voederbieten op landbouwbedrijven. Het ecologische gedeelte wel te verstaan. Wat leeft er zoal in percelen met voederbieten? En draagt dat bij aan de biodiversiteit? Wim Knol, Erik van Til en Nadine Mussert hebben dit in 2018 en 2019 namens de Jagersvereniging onderzocht
