Smartphone apps can now take advantage of high-resolution cameras found in modern mobile phones with the aim of diagnosing and detecting pests and diseases in crops. In cucumber cultivation the applications Xarvio scouting, Plantix and Agrio can be used for the detection of many pests and disease.
