About project

A thematic network that builds on, promotes, and leverages the knowledge generated by EIP-AGRI Operational Groups (OGs) and other initiatives in the field of sustainable soil and farm management. The project focuses on improving access to practical knowledge and accelerating the uptake of proven solutions that enhance soil health, resource efficiency, and farm resilience. Funded by the European Union, Soil-X-Change connects farmers, advisors, researchers, policymakers, and projects across Europe to strengthen cooperation and knowledge flows within the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System (AKIS). The network operates through national and EU-level structures, enabling cross-border exchange, peer learning, and co-creation of solutions adapted to real farming conditions. It collects, harmonises, and analyses existing knowledge, including results and data from OGs, and translates them into accessible, ready-to-use practices. Through digital tools, targeted dissemination, and demonstrations, Soil-X-Change supports informed decision-making and fosters the wider adoption of sustainable soil management practices across diverse agricultural systems.
