Description détaillée

In the context of stringent organic farming regulations that prohibit synthetic chemicals and GMOs, the Securbio program was developed by ITAB, Synabio, and partner organizations to centralize and analyze pesticide and GMO residue data for organic operators. Launched in 2011 under CASDAR funding, the online platform features a shared database of contaminant analyses, sector-specific good practice sheets, risk evaluation grids from field to distribution, and user training modules. By pooling and harmonizing control plans, Securbio aids professionals in detecting contamination points, optimizing preventive measures, and communicating alerts. Continued industry management ensures ongoing data contribution and result exploitation to safeguard organic product integrity.
