Description détaillée

The RCC (References on the short marketing channels) project assembled researchers, development agencies, and agricultural organizations to develop a common system to assess short food supply chain performance. From October 2010 to December 2013, the project defined a shared analytical framework and produced reference indicators through surveys conducted between September 2011 and July 2012. Its systemic approach widened analysis beyond economic and labor dimensions to include social and environmental criteria. The resulting framework offers reliable references and tools for farmers, project holders, advisors, and stakeholders to make informed decisions and foster sustainable short supply chain strategies.
