Description détaillée

This study investigates the role of the Bleu-Blanc-Coeur niche in driving agroecological transition through integrated coordination of plant and animal production systems. Applying the multi-level perspective, it traces the niche’s structuring during the 2000s around a thermo-extruded linseed supplement rich in omega-3 fatty acids. The analysis highlights how this innovation reshapes cropping and dairy supply chains, promotes diversification of cultivated species, and enhances ecological resource efficiency. By linking animal diet improvements to human nutrition via omega-3–enriched products, the niche offers a practical model for resource-efficient agroecosystems and novel supply chain organization.
