Het Markemodel in de praktijk
Nu klimaatdoelen, stikstof en achteruitgang van biodiversiteit maatschappelijk steeds urgenter worden, is er behoefte aan perspectief voor boeren. Het Markemodel biedt dat via een aanpak waarbij boeren en sturende partijen samen bepalen met welke regionale doelen op het gebied van lucht, water en land ze aan de slag gaan en welke beloning daar tegenover staat. In de Achterhoek werd dit model nu voor het eerst in de praktijk beproefd. Op vrijdag 9 december 2022 sloten de Boerenraad en de Markeraad een deal met elkaar.
