Roof insulation and electricity from photovoltaics

The BroilerNet project collects promising and successfully implemented Good Practices to meet sector challenges. Installation of photovoltaics and roof insulation with 15 mm polystyrene interlayer significantly reduced long term energy costs of the house and improved factors, litter quality, ammonia emissions and food conversion rates in the broiler production.
