Frequently Renewed PG, Mostly Grazed (F_G)

This type consists of grasslands that are renewed regularly, at least every 15 years, and where herbage is mostly harvested by grazing rather than cutting. They are most frequent in the Atlantic biogeographic region, but are also relatively common in the western Continental biogeographic region.

FACTSHEET NANOCELLULOSE MEMBRANES FOR NUTRIENT RECOVERY Key information Functionalized nanocellulose membranes can take up nitrate and phosphate. These membranes can be put in a water treatment unit. As the membranes are biobased, degradable materials, they can after use be added to the soil, thus returning the leached nutrients back for their original purpose providing fertilizers (nutrient recycling).
