Detail description
PHYTOPHTHORA LITE is a Dutch software tool that predicts phytophthora infection risk in crops using local and regional weather data. It provides three-day forecasts rated as low, medium, or high, supporting decisions on irrigation, treatment, or harvesting. The app enhances predictive accuracy by integrating crop data, treatment history, and infection progress. Designed for improved resource management and reduced plant protection use, it supports better crop health and economic efficiency. Funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme (grant No. 818194), the tool is developed by AgroApps and accessible at http://agroapps.nl/apps/dacom-phytophthora-lite/.
