Improving farm health and safety through research, policy, and community-driven initiatives in the EU

or

Detail description

Safehabitus is a Horizon Europe-funded project (2023–2026) enhancing farm health and safety (FHS) for farmers, families, and migrant workers. It strengthens knowledge innovation systems through participatory research, policy engagement, and co-designed solutions. The project establishes 11 Communities of Practice, evaluates FHS and consumer attitudes toward ethical food, and supports governance reforms. It drives social sustainability in agriculture via research-to-policy translation, ethical trade forums, and national and EU-level policy improvements. Updates at www.safehabituseu. The European Union does not endorse the views expressed.
