Dual-purpose poultry for organic and low-input farming

Dual-purpose poultry breeds eliminate the need to cull day-old male chicks in organic and low-input farming. These birds serve both egg and meat production, offering improved animal welfare and sustainability. The PPILOW project provides technical guidance on housing, enrichment, performance monitoring, and marketing for dual-purpose flocks.
