Detail description

FusaProg and FusaProg Light are Swiss wheat disease forecasting tools that assess Fusarium infection and mycotoxin (DON) risk using weather data. FusaProg Light offers free, real-time risk assessments; FusaProg provides registered users with detailed, location-specific evaluations. Both tools generate downloadable maps and data on infection risk by wheat variety. Developed by Agroscope, they support conventional and organic farmers in reducing unnecessary fungicide use and optimizing intervention timing. The models are part of a data-driven initiative to improve sustainable wheat cultivation in Switzerland.
