Detail description

A Safehabitus Community of Practice in Estonia enhances agricultural health and safety by analysing accident data, research, and stakeholder input to create a prevention roadmap. It fosters collaboration among professionals to address systemic issues like poor education and weak organisational practices. The group, formed voluntarily, held five meetings in its first six months and plans 3–4 annual gatherings. Insights from farmers shape safety strategies, supported by a virtual platform. Key partners include Esti Maaülikool, EFFAT, CEJA, and European universities, with EU funding. Despite low initial interest in safety topics, the initiative builds trust using decades of sector experience. Outputs reflect the authors’ views, not the EU’s official position.
