Detail description
The European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability (EIP-AGRI) relies on Operational Groups (OGs) comprising farmers, researchers, and advisers who co-create innovative, practical solutions for sustainable agriculture and forestry. Based on a multi-country survey of 111 actors across nine European countries and insights from the Discovery Research Center, this practice abstract outlines the roles and activities of key OG members during project preparation and implementation. Findings show that 64% of farmers initiated projects by identifying real-world challenges. The report provides evidence-based recommendations to enhance collaboration and project outcomes, drawing from diverse sectoral and national experiences.
