This project investigates dietary strategies to enhance pig gut health and reduce antimicrobial use, funded by the EU Horizon 2020 programme (Grant 862829). Metabolomics, metagenomics, and short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) analyses of digesta, feces, and blood plasma were conducted to identify biomarkers and mechanisms. Data were collected under standardized protocols, flash-frozen at -80°C, and stored with unique identifiers. All data are FAIR-compliant, with manuscripts in preparation for peer-reviewed journals.
