Catchit Pheromone Bands for Pear and Apple Sawflies

Capture efficiency of 65–91% for apple and 74–100% for pear sawflies using CatchIt monitoring bands between 2021–2023. No significant differences in efficacy across band densities. A 2024 trial with lower densities confirmed 100 bands per hectare as the minimum effective density. Conducted at Wolters Eko Fruit, Conference cultivar, 2009/2010 planting, 3.25 x 1 m spacing, light loam soil. Full bloom 2 April.
