Detail description

A group of 25 stakeholders, including farmers, chefs, and health professionals, met on October 17, 2024, at Stadsboerderij De Sibbe in Sneek to develop strategies for increasing demand for sustainable local food from Greidhoek. Using the World Café method, they targeted consumers, businesses, and public organisations. Recommendations included experiential marketing, school cooking programmes, automated delivery kiosks, youth influencer campaigns, and doctor-endorsed messaging. A local food academy and unified branding like Fries Voodsebeweging were proposed to strengthen collaboration among organisations such as OLVaniet, Fieldlab, and Stadsboerderij De Sibbe. The focus was on community engagement, local sourcing, and health benefits.
