Silvania Farms, part of the BioSilvania Cooperative, spans 2200 hectares and implements an integrated short agri-food chain promoting organic farming. The farm raises 2000 poultry for milk and meat production, processes feed on-site, and sells directly to consumers or specialized ecological intermediaries. With production and processing within 30 km, transportation distances are minimized, enhancing sustainability and efficiency. The initiative is supported by USAMV Cluj and AgroTransilvania Cluster, funded by the European Union.
