Mechanical Weed Control Using Tined Weeders in Arable Crops

Tined weeders enhance mechanical weed control in arable crops, improving soil structure and nitrogen availability when used with crop rotation and timely application.

or

Detail description

Mechanical weed control using tined weeders reduces weed biomass and harvest contamination in arable systems, particularly effective when applied pre- or post-emergence at the cotyledon stage. Combined with crop rotation and delayed harvest, it enhances soil tillage and nitrogen mobilization. The Einböck Aerostar series offers adjustable aggressivity and performance in challenging conditions, with models like the Aerostar-FUSION ensuring consistent tine pressure. Pre-emergence tining can reduce weed biomass by up to 93%. Not effective against deep-rooted or large weeds.
