Detail description
MojGozdar is a digital platform by the Slovenian Forest Institute that standardizes roundwood quality classification using European standards, including RVR (2015) and Slovenia’s 2020 regulations. It enables accurate measurement, volume calculation, and defect assessment—such as knots, rot, and taper—for classifying timber into four quality grades (A–D). The tool supports marketing through digital assortment lists with location, pricing, and terms, and integrates real-time market data from the Forestry Institute of Slovenia. Designed for forest owners, sellers, and buyers, it enhances transparency, reduces disputes, and promotes sustainable timber trade. Available free to registered users, with advanced features via AdsOn mode. Funded by the EU under Grant 101092616 as part of FOREST4EU.
